KVPY Aptitude Test 2021 to be held on 9 Jan 2022, Check the link to download admit card here

The KVPY Aptitude Test 2021 will be conducted on January 09, 2022, as announced by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. KVPY 2021 admit cards are available for download from the fourth week of December. Candidates who successfully registered and paid the application fee can download their admit cards from the official website.

KPVY exam will be conducted at the all-India level to award fellowships to candidates pursuing various courses in Basic Sciences.

How To Download the KVPY Admit Card?

Candidates appearing for the KVPY Aptitude Test 2021 can download their KVPY admit cards by following the below-mentioned steps.

• Visit the official website of KVPY.
• Click on the link ‘Download Admit Card’ displayed on the homepage.
• It will redirect you to the candidates’ login page.
• Enter the login credentials (User Id & Password) and log in.
• Admit Card having candidate’s roll number, center, exam date, and other details will appear on the screen.
• Download the admit card and take a printout for future reference.

KVPY Eligibility Criteria

The KVPY fellowships are awarded to Indian Nationals to pursue a research career in basic sciences in India. The candidates must be citizens of India to be eligible for the KVPY exam. The KVPY eligibility criteria are specified under three different streams.

Stream SA

Students who have passed class 10th with a minimum of 75% marks in Maths and Science and are studying in class 11th during the academic year (2021-22) are eligible to apply for the KVPY 2021 exam. The fellowship for the students who qualify will be activated when they join an undergraduate course in Basic Sciences in the academic year (2030-24) after class 12th.

Stream SX

Students studying in class 12th (science stream) during the academic year 2021-22 and aspiring to join an undergraduate program in Basic Sciences in the academic year 2022-23 are eligible for the KVPY fellowship under the SX stream. Students must score at least 60% marks in class 12th to activate their fellowship.

Stream SB

Candidates who have passes class 12th from a recognized board with a minimum of 60% marks in total and have enrolled in the 1st year of an undergraduate program in Basic Sciences in the academic year 2021-22 are eligible to appear for the KVPY 2021 exam.

KVPY Selection Criteria

The KVPY selection process includes two stages – Aptitude Test and Interview. The candidates who pass the aptitude test will be called for the final interview round. The KVPY scholarship will be awarded on the basis of candidates’ performance in both the Aptitude Test and Interview. The evaluation is done considering 75% marks of the Aptitude Test and 25% marks of the Interview.

Candidates appearing for the KVPY 2021 exam on January 09, 2022 must carry a hard copy of their admit cards to the exam centre.
