How to Use TikTok Filters
To use TikTok filters, open the TikTop app on your iOS or Android device. Tap on the “+” icon at the center of the bottom menu.
You can record a new video by tapping the red record button. You can also use a video saved on your device by tapping the upload button. If you opt for the latter, you can add filters later in the video preview.
On the upper-right corner of the video preview, you’ll see a menu. Tap on the Filters icon.
Once you do, a selection of filters will show up along the bottom of the display. Tapping a filter will give a live preview of how it looks on your video.
You can use any filter on any video. It applies even when TikTok sorted the filters into categories.
You can also increase or decrease the filter’s intensity by dragging the white dot. Once you’re satisfied with how the filter looks, tap on it to close the filter’s menu.
If you want to remove all applied filters and reset the video, tap the circle-like icon with a line going through. When you’re done editing your video, tap next.
Finish up by entering any appropriate information or choosing your preferred settings. Once you’re ready to publish, tap on Post. You’re done!
