More than two-thirds of workers tend to waste an average of 60 minutes at work only for navigating between apps and programs meant for facilitating communications.

How will UC tools improve the future workplace?

  • Share information- UC tools connect your employees working at different branches. It reiterates the principal message across the company. It allows various departments to know what resources are available; what assets are accessible? For instance, if productivity is the primary concern, your employees should feel the priority through plenty of resources and shared information.

Employers should remember to add personal stories, informal communication, arrange “real talk” communities, and host events for particular groups in the workforce. Moreover, utilizing testimonials from all departments and designations in the organization rejuvenates prosperity.
  • Assessing impact- This feature of unified communication solutions will significantly impact the overall productivity of an organization. Employers or management will constantly be asking for feedback and measuring communication and other well-being program metrics. They will assess the metrics to determine whether the running programs are hitting the mark efficiently or the current plan needs changes.

Being able to share essential data with the right employees at the right time has already become a necessity. In the future, its importance will grow steadily. In this context, it is essential to note that the employees expect to explore the data they are interested in ready before their hands.

As we are now going through a transition into the future workplace communication and advantages and disadvantages that come with the changes, employers should pay more attention to the relationships and communications of the employees with the workforce. However, the role of robust unified communications solutions will be more important in the upcoming days.
